Teleb — Terms of Service

Teleb transfers a file between two devices using only a screen and a camera. One device displays a stream of codes and the other reads them with its camera. There is no internet connection, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no account, and no server.

Because there is no server and no account, there is no service for us to operate on your behalf and nothing for us to suspend. These Terms govern your use of the software itself.

• Teleb is not fast. Light through a camera is a narrow channel, and the app is built for cases where no faster channel exists
• Video files are refused outright, and files above a size threshold are refused outright. These are deliberate product limits
• Both devices must remain still and facing each other for the whole transfer
• Teleb is not a backup service and keeps no copy of anything. If a transfer fails, the file exists only where it already was

• You retain all rights to the files you transfer. We never receive, store, or process them
• You are solely responsible for the content you send and for having the right to send it
• You are responsible for confirming you are transferring to the device you intend. Teleb shows both devices the same three words for exactly this purpose — if they do not match, stop
• You are responsible for the security of files saved to your device after they arrive

You agree not to use Teleb to:

• Transfer content that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to transfer
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Circumvent a lawful restriction that applies to you or to the data
• Distribute malware or other harmful code

We have no server and no visibility into transfers, so we cannot monitor or enforce this. Compliance is entirely yours, and so is the responsibility for a breach of it.

Teleb collects nothing. The Privacy Policy explains this in full, including how you can verify the claim yourself rather than take our word for it.

TELEB IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

• We do not warrant that a transfer will succeed, complete, or complete within any particular time
• We do not warrant that the app is free of errors, or that it will work on every device or in every lighting condition
• You use Teleb at your own risk, and should keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• JimmyLabs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• JimmyLabs shall not be liable for lost or corrupted data, or for a transfer that did not arrive
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the Republic of Korea, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be described in the release notes of the version that introduces them, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
